Great News
My monthly salary goal has been achieved and I’m all for it.
Towards the end of June, my boss told me there’s going to be a salary review and asked how much would be enough to do a Full-Time job, prior to this, I was working remotely on a 000k salary. I planned to leave for better pay at 000k (double of what I was earning) or more, cos I know I am worth it.
She messaged me on slack and I told her north of 000k would be a good place to start.. she replied, “ha Bayomi”, I replied with a laughing emoji. And that was the end of the conversation.
A few days later, the contract arrived by mail and it was 000k (x3 of my current salary at that time) including tax and pension. I was wowed, finally, I achieved my earning goal without having to get another job, cos honestly, I love my boss, I have always wanted to work with her and it was a dream come through. Lol, I can’t be precise because of company policy.
As it turns out, I will be doing more Graphics and Motion Design and not Product Design, more so, I found that I like product management and I have taken a role as an Associate Product Manager under our Brilliant PM.. I love it, I working towards becoming a full-fledged PM by the first quarter of next year.
Yeah, so my next monthly income would be north of 1.8m Naira by Q4 of 2022.
